Redland School Now STOP PRESS: The Redland
Green School website (formerly known as 'New North Bristol School' - for which
the RSN group successfully campaigned in 2003/4) is now online; the school opened
for its first year 'offsite' in September 2006. Pay
the Redland Green School website a visit and find out about Headteacher Sarah
Baker and her fast expanding staff, download the 2007 prospectus, catch up on
building progress at Redland in stills and video - there's plenty more! more>>>
Redland School Now
came together in May 2003 as a campaign group of North Bristol parents to help
ensure that the new 11-16 Redland School
and Post-16 centres went
ahead as planned. This
website contains a great deal on the 'history' to the scheme which
is full steam ahead. The main source for up-to-date information
is now the new school's
website at www.redlandschoolnow.co.uk
first published by the temporary governing body formed in June 2005. The
school comprises a 945 place 11-16 school at Redland Court Rd (plus 50 place facility
for children with severe learning difficulties) and two 450 place Post-16 centres
at the new Redland and existing Cotham Charnwood House sites. Support
for the new Redland School - from parents in Redland, Westbury Park, Henleaze,
Bishopston and surrounding areas - has been shown to be immense time and time
again. We
look forward to the school's first Year 7 starting off-site at the 'old' Fairfield
site in September 2006 and the Redland buildings being completed in August 2007.
A BIG thanks to all who have helped make this possible!
